Calistoga Family Center cultivates healthy families by providing integrated health and family services for a stronger Calistoga.

Our Community

Calistoga is located at the north end of the Napa Valley, approximately 80 miles north of San Francisco. Calistoga is known for its spas, hot springs, and vineyards. Approximately 40% of the city's population is Hispanic. Based on local school data, 65% of the children live in poverty.

Prior to 1999, neither health nor social services were available locally. Limited affordable housing, low-wage employment opportunities and language barriers contributed to increased poverty in our community.

Calistoga Family Center

In 1999, Calistoga Family Center was created by a team of educators and community members who believed healthy families are the foundation of a strong community.

Today Calistoga Family Center serves as the heart of community services, directing six different outreach divisions with more than 30 different programs. The Center works collaboratively with community partners to improve family life.

Our Goals

Calistoga Family Center envisions a vital Calistoga where every family has the support it needs to create happy, healthy and productive members of the community. We work to:

• Create economic success for all
• End family violence
• Improve family health
• Raise successful students

Funding

Funding for our operations and services comes from a variety of sources, including personal and business charitable donations, city-, county-, state-, and federal grants, local charitable organizations, foundations, and our fundraising events. Through our collaboration with other agencies and service providers, every dollar we raise translates into at least three dollars' worth of services for our clients.  Click here to donate online now!
